Bargains to be had. Worth a visit. Happy with our purchases However , valuation letter had our names wrong. Seriously?. Not very professional given we gave it too you on the day. Store too busy , your waiting too long, good for them , bad for us. Maybe that's why they cant get our names right.
Refuse to price match other authorized dealers within Australia, instead they Grace in this instance pressure you to travel into the store for "a discount". 1. Price matching should ideally be an option. 2. Disclose said discount prior to wasting a potential customer's time please. Disgusting levels of professionalism.
Disappointed that they only change watch links on Monday watch purchases at Shiels too. After some looks between 3 staff, you can tell they didn't want to assist with this task. There were no other customers instore.
Disgraceful Customer Service from Grace - worst customer service I have ever received in Australia from SHIELS Carousel WA on the 5th of August 2019. I was referred to SHIELS Carousel after I had previously enquired about purchasing a chain at SHIELS Belmont Forum on the 2nd of August but they were out of stock. The Belmont store said that I could wait for the chain to be delivered to their store by the 9th of August but I will not be able to get it as I will be traveling out of the country by then. Thus, the most viable option for me was to go to Carousel as it was near my house and I was informed that Caitlin has kept the chain aside for me to collect on Monday the 5th of August. When my friend and I entered the Carousel store, both sales assistants were busy serving customers so we were just browsing the displays whilst waiting. I noticed that one of the sales assistant named Grace answered her personal mobile phone whilst serving an elderly couple which I thought was highly unprofessional. After 10 minutes, the other sales assistant Subi finished up and skipped us to serve a young couple that arrived after us. My friend and I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt, maybe she did not see that we were there first. When Grace finished up the sales with the elderly couple, she walked out of the counter even though she knew that we had been waiting a long time for service. I had to ask out loud for service to grab her attention despite us being right in front of her. The fact that we were not acknowledged by any of the sales assistants for more than 20 minutes after stepping foot in the store is just awful. I informed her that I would like to collect a chain that was kept aside for me. She rummaged through the drawers to look for it but she became frustrated with me as she could not find it. She interrogated me with questions asking me how much the chain was, what kind of chain it was and what my name was again even though I told her at the beginning and spelt it out for her. In a highly condescending tone, she asked if Belmont gave me the SKU number and whether I was present when Belmont contacted Carousel to set aside the chain for me. I felt like I was being scolded for not knowing the type of chain and what its SKU number was. When I reiterated that all I was told by Belmont was that Caitlin kept the chain aside for me to be collected on Monday, Grace rudely responded by saying that Cailtin does not work there anymore. I was under the impression that the chain was already set aside and I did not know that I needed all that information just to collect. Seeing as I do not know what I apparently needed to know, I offered her a solution which is to call the Belmont store as they were the ones who know in detail the particular chain that I was after. She seemed really reluctant to call Belmont and passed me over to Subi who was busy serving another customer, saying that she wanted to swap and Subi can call Belmont instead. When Grace served the other customer, she was all smiles as it was obvious that the older lady was a regular customer seeing as she knew her by name. Subi looked in the system and contacted Belmont right away in which the particular chain was found in a matter of minutes. Grace could have completed the transaction in minutes too, and in a friendly manner but instead she chose to be difficult and arrogant whilst serving me. It seemed that I was a small fry in comparison to the other older ladies who were the big fishes as I was only purchasing a $40 chain. However, a customer is still a customer regardless of how much they are spending in the store and I am absolutely disgusted by this appalling two-faced customer service I have received from Grace. My experience with SHIELS is truly tainted as I believe that for a jewelry store to have such low standards of customer service in their staff should absolutely be avoided at all cost. I hope SHIELS would look into the matter and make sure such an atrocious incident is not repeated as no paying customer should be treated the way I did.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Revived a gift from my partner which broke after only a month of having it! Took it in straight away and told them I wanted to exchange for a different style or a refund. They sent it away to head office to be assessed and possibly repaired and advised I would be contacted within 2 weeks, almost a month went by with no contact from them whatsoever. I decided to go into the store and explain the situation again, the lady who served me checked and said they were going to charge me $35 for the repair, she said she would make a note and get in contact with them and that again, I would be contacted within the next couple of weeks. A few weeks went by and still nothing. I went back into the store for a second time and was served by another lady, I explained how I was upset because there was 0 communication to me and it this point I just wanted it back to either exchange or get a refund. She was helpful and told me I could do either of the options and that she was getting it sent back from head office ASAP. Only when it arrived back in store was I contacted for the first time. After going in today to get a refund I was told I wasn’t allowed to, and that I could only exchange. At this point I didn’t want anything from there because I didn’t want to go through this again. When I asked if I could have store credit I was told no and that I could only exchange for a product. I ended up exchanging my birthday gift from my partner for something for himself. And to top it off I was told I was only allowed one exchange from the store and could not exchange these products from today. I am very disappointed in the service as I work in a jewellery retailer and know they could’ve have done much better customer service following our consumer law. Will never be purchasing from there again
Walked into the store today to have a look at one of the Tommy Hilfiger watches that I have previously looked online. One of the girls explained the product succintly and I ended up buying it. Needed to be resized to fit my arms. In and out the store with the new watch in less than 15 mins. Very happy with the product and fast customer service with no pushy or upsell attitude.
I'm writing to this review on behalf of my mum. My mum purchased a ring and a pair of earrings from Shiels and was served by Grace. My mum was very pleased with her purchase and couldn't stop talking about Grace. Grace provided superior customer service, and it was clear that she really cared about her customers. My mum has been to other jewellers around Perth but has not met anyone as helpful as Grace. She's a very happy customer and will keep visiting Shiels Carousel in the future!
I have been trying to call the store for the last couple of days and the phone keeps ringing out, why bother having a phone when you don't answer it.?? I purchased a ring on the 29th November and needed resizing - 2 weeks approx and I have left it a bit longer - 23rd Dec and have heard nothing. I will not use Shiels again, will stick with Prouds in future.
*would give this store less than one star if possible* Came here to do a refund for a faulty necklace I received for valentines I had with the the original receipt and boxed packaging about 1.5 weeks after it was bought as I had been away. The sales staff were incredibly rude, some were even chewing gum and food as they were talking to customers and were obnoxiously loud on their phones. Had to wait for staff to finish talking amongst themselves to recognise I was waiting for assistance. I ended up being served by Deepvali who was incredibly rude and failed to apologise for the wait or fault of the necklace. Had to push to get just a REQUEST of a REFUND from head office even though the necklace was obviously faulty. Still awaiting their response and rang customer service immediately after to complain about their terrible store service. Am still awaiting a response about my refund so would greatly appreciate it if their team could reply to this to get in touch. This is will be my first and last time shopping at Shiels stores ever. DO NOT EVER GET ANYTHING FROM HERE AS THEIR EXCHANGE AND REFUND POLICY IS NOT WORTH YOUR TIME OR MONEY.
