My sisters sovereign ring was damaged by their jeweller and the state manager said 'they were not responsible' - Consumer Protection says otherwise. They have before photos which they will not email to my sister - so she can take the ring to an independent jeweller to get it repaired. A worker in the store even told my sister their jeweller was 'no good and they were trying to get rid of them'. Terrible experience, my sister is now going through Consumer Protection to get Prouds to pay the $500 for it to be put back to its original state. Very unhelpful state manager that obviously has no idea these problems are the reason the company has insurance. DO NOT leave your jewellery here for repair unless you don't love it!
Popped in to ask for a repair. Safety chain had come off of a link on my bracelet. You lady was keen to assist me by reattaching it. She explained that it wouldn't be as secure as having a new one soldered by the jewler but I wasn't interested in that. No charge and very helpful.
Normally the customer service is great but today I waited 15 minutes for someone to service me while the 2 girls that were on, completely ignored me and didn’t even say that they will be with me shortly. One of them was having a conversation with a colleague who had come in on their day off, I already knew what I wanted and when I was served I was done in less then 5 minutes.I’m extremely disappointed as this prouds is normally so good and staff is normally great but today I’m very disappointed
Oh my Lord I WOULD NOT recommend this jewellers,not only did they break my chain, they then called me a liar and we're going to make me pay for a new clasp,which is not cheap. They also never did the original job that I paid them to do initially and sent back the damaged jewelry.i must say that even the photos that they produced proved the piece intact on original arrival BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.safe to say I got my money back and went elsewhere I recommend others do the same.

My son has been coming here for the last year and has spent lots of money here from his part time job as he loves his jewellery the young sales assistants are always very bubbly and friendly as i think they know my son is a regular however today an older sales assistant served him first time ever she has served him all he wanted was to get his chain repaired she was rude and demanded id even though he really just needed the link replaced - and he could wait whilst they did it would have taken no more than a couple of minutes it seemed she really could not be bothered with him so made it an awful and difficult experience for something so minor have told my son he is no longer to spend his money there at all...this is not how you treat repeat customers Do not recommend shopping here at all.
Went in to Prouds Maddington today with $200 to spend on a watch, yet despite being the only customers in the shop and knowing the type of watch we wanted we really got the can't be bothered vibe from the young girls in store. After reluctantly fetching us 3 to look at it all seemed too much trouble and we were were advised to maybe try another store. Customer service was very poor , they didn't even try... didn't even remove watches from display holder or undo strap for me to try on! Go elsewhere, I did.
Would not recommend this place to anyone.. very bad customer service as the staff are busy doing their own little things. They don't really bother about showing you any of the stuff.. even if they do end up showing stuff, they try to do it in such a way that they are doing you a favour. Go elsewhere if you want to spend your money.
A great place to find th@ piece of jewellery you can wear on memorable occasions. I had2 buy my bro a Stirling silver watch just to say 'thank you for being there!'
