I went to get my hair cut yesterday and I made it very clear that I did not want my hair to be short, and the hairdresser knew that very well too. Yet, I ended up getting my hair cut all the way to my shoulders. I couldn't even hide my anger. The hairdresser knew I didn't want it short, and I showed her specifically how much I wanted cut off, which was a little bit. She said "we'll do this much FOR NOW and SEE if YOU'LL WANT it shorter" yet, she did not ask me anything after that at all, she literally went straight to my shoulders. Im not sure if I wasn't too clear about not wanting short hair, or she just couldn't understand the concept of asking the client questions of whether they want more off or not. I am still pissed off at how she made the choice of how much my hair should be cut and did not ask me if I wanted it shorterer or not. Its unbelievable that I paid $32 on a long bowl cut that doesn't look professionally done at all. I'm not exaggerating.
