Always enjoy going here but today was exceptional. I met my hairdresser soul mate! Thad gave me the best cut and colour ever. If you want to see someone that will listen to you, look at the pics you’ve taken along and then put that all together to give you the perfect cut, you need to see Thad!

I walked into the salon today to book a haircut and I was lucky enough to get an appointment with Tash. She is a brilliant cutter and what's really lovely too is that she enjoys what she does. She gave me the cut I wanted and it turned out even better than I expected because she added her own ideas and finesse. I'm visiting Auckland from Melbourne for a few weeks and I was so happy that I've booked another cut with Tash before I leave so I can go home looking my best! Thanks Tash and all the friendly staff at Rodney Wayne Lynnmall.

I've been coming here a bit, today I wasn't very happy. Admittedly, I arrived at 9.24am for a 9am appt. Apologised and asked for a reschedule, where I was sat down at 9.35am. The issue is how long it took. I only needed my roots done (1cm full head) and a blow wave. I left at 12.05pm. Two and a half hours later. In the meantime I see in the background two waves of clients have come and gone and I'm still going. Then I had a big blotch of colour on my LHS and was told they had run out of stain remover, so then???? Nothing else suggested. Is this why I paid $160 instead of the intial advised $180? I only noticed it now as I'm washing my face this evening. Not cool. I've spent a lot of money at this store and gotten good service before, I want to have a good regular salon. Tash is who I have been seeing of late, she wasn't in today (ashame), she always does a great job AND forewarns me of approx time. But two and a half hours for roots and blow wave...come on. Also the other thing I've noticed there's like glitter or spots all over my hair, which is evident against the darker colour. So mad right now and they're closed and tomorrow I'm off to Wellington for work ARGGHH! So unhappy right now :( Disliked it today, but I'm coming back and I will change my rating if the service improves. TM.
