Just Cuts

Been coming here for more than 5 years and have always asked for a Wash and Cut. This time the lady did what seemed like the usual to me and then charged me extra as The Works. Apparently the extra bit was to use a hairdryer for less than a minute and put a tiny bit of product in my hair. I’ve always had this done with my other cuts and it was never charged as extra. She never asked me if I wanted anything extra to a Wash and Cut. She might be a bad apple though; the other hairdressers I’ve had have always been good so let’s hope this turns out to be a one-off bad experience!

My first visit to a hair salon after a year. Didn’t have to wait long even though the show was full of customers. Quite Welcoming and gave a estimated time for my turn to come. Got a notification to my when its my turn. I did explain myself for the kind of service that I’m looking for. I did conform if they are good with trimming beards. The lady was very confident and assured it will be take care. The hair cut was ok, but not satisfying. She had no idea how to trim a beard and couldn’t get what I’m trying to say with my beard. I assumed she understood but not really. Felt like having a hair cut from a robot and sitting in a funeral. She may be the boss but she can’t keep asking her staffs how many hair cuts they did and how long they did over time, while dealing with the customer. So focused on finishing a person and getting to the next. Not a good experience. Price: 4.5/5 Ambience: 4/5 Cleanliness: 4.5/5 Customer service: 2.5/5 Customer Friendly: 0/5

Thanks Rizzy for my amazing haircut. Yet another superb visit to St Lukes salon. You always make me feel good about myself and I love the positive feedback from friends and family on my hair. I have been going there for over 10years and will continue to do so. Happy New Year to you all 😊

Decided to give just cuts a second go after having a horrible service about a year ago to be disapointed yet again. My daughter wanted a simple hair cut but the lady who cut her hair made it a tad bit uneven visible to the naked eye. Only wanted to suggest that it was uneven so that it won't look horrible but to my surprise it resulted in an unpleasant conversation where she threatened to call security.I believe every customer deserve to have their voice heard simply because we pay for the services. No person should endure the kind of treatment we recieved. Watch out for the name Jenny as she simply doesn't know how to treat a person let alone a child. She ultimately made a child cry who was excited for a haircut.
