Sea Dragon Lodge, a tranquil adult retreat, offers luxury accommodation for up to 16 adults. It is nestled atop the Island’s spectacular north-eastern shores on a 250 acre seafront estate.

From the balcony you gaze down to our very own Pink Bay where a break in the coastal headland reveals waves lapping across our sheltered beach. Beyond lie the moody waters of historic Backstairs Passage and Fleurieu Peninsula’s imposing southern flanks. It’s a grand vista: captivating, ever-changing and always rewarding.

Explore nature’s wonders on our doorstep. Walk the bush. Fossick along our shoreline. Fish from the Cove. Or just bask in the solitude.

Great place to stay, very clean and luxurious vibe. Steve was a great host. The location is fantastic. I recommend visiting Dudleys Cellar door which is close by. If you are looking to see an abundance of native animals this is the place. We saw over 20 kangaroos next to our villa, on the walk down to the private beach.

Excellent hosts and facilities, great for a relaxing vacation with beautiful scenery. Steve and his wife are so warm and hospitable with plenty of stories and delicious food to keep you sated. Lighthouse and Devils Kitchen walking track 5 minutes away, 30 minutes from Penneshaw Ferry but unfortunately quite removed from the main/tourist part of KI. Will definitely be coming back to KI and Sea Dragon Lodge.

It was a great experience! The lodge was having all needed, with Steve a great host, great food, clean and luxury accommodation! We loved it! In the evening we could see kangaroos just around the lodge, which made our daughter very happy. During the day we could have great walks around and enjoy the secluded beach! This remains one of the best holidays we had!

My wife and I have stayed several times at Sea Dragon Lodge and each time it has been wonderful. The ocean and bushland views from the main lodge and the luxury cabins are breathtaking, with kangaroos, beautiful blue wrens and other KI animals right there in the bush. We went swimming at the beach in front of the Lodge, enjoyed exclusive tours to other parts of Kangaroo Island and really got into great fishing action with the Lodge's owner Steve in his charter boat. Just fabulous. Thanks Steve.

We arrived to Kangaroo Island doing a bad storm. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The view, when the weather cleared, was beautiful. There is a nice restaurant nearby and when the roads were closed around the island, we could drive up to the restaurant. There were also a lot of provisions in the unit. Steve suggested that we stay longer when we booked. We were glad that we did. The following day was beautiful and KI has many excellent sites. We really enjoyed our stay at KI and the Sea Dragon Lodge.
