Our Kangaroo Island Hotel, Aurora Ozone Hotel, is located on the beautiful foreshore at Kingscote. The original section of this hotel on Kangaroo Island has a Victorian façade and amenities that blend with the refined atmosphere of old world charm. Coupled with the vibrant & attractive modern hotel and townhouse sections, our holiday rentals offer accommodation that has been developed to international standards and have become famous for setting the standard for family holiday apartments in Kangaroo Island.
Enjoy the extensive menu made up of local produce and seafood as well as the panoramic views over Nepean Bay while dining at the bistro restaurant. Stayed in a Poolside Family room back in September. The room was super spacious and clean, beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of sweet and savory foods. Dinner was a 10/10 - I recommend the tuna with mashed potatoes, just fantastic! Staff was very helpful and kind
I had an amazing stay at the Aurora Ozone hotel. I was only here for one night, but the staff made me feel like family.nnOutstanding from the rest was Regan, who was holding down the bat on her own, and still had time to be funny and friendly as she went about her work. I have been travelling for a while now and it was lovely to have someone to welcome me at the bar.nnThank you for a fabulous night on my journey, I hope to return and stay here again known the future.
This is one of the worst hotel we stayed at. We stayed there for 4 days and nobody serviced even a single day. Whenever we asked they said they would send people for that. They said they will credit us money back for service. But at the end they didn’t even credit back a single penny and said they will service only once in 4 days!!!!!!! If so, then why they didn’t say this when we first asked? We had to clean the room and dump rubbish ourselves!!!. They took service charge for 4 days even though we got no service at all!!!!I do not recommend this to anyone.
Pretty much perfect. Had a minor maintenance issue on arrival, went to reception to report the issue, by the time I walked back to the room, maintenance were there, full of apologies and quickly rectified the issue, very well done. Staff bright and cheerful, polite, professional and prompt. Great service from all staff Room was clean and functional, beds very comfortable. Food was excellent, both evening meals and the breakfast buffet. Overall very happy, will stay there again and more than happy to recommend Aurora Ozone KI
Executive room had little that was executive about it.nnClearly given worse room in hotel due to room rate discount.nnWindow faces garbage bins and footpath used by everyone - windows & curtains had to be kept shut at all times to get any privacy.nnBack exit door was next to room - slammed at all times of night and morning - unable to get peaceful rest.nnRoom clearly rarely used:nDust, cobwebs, dead insectsnSewage odour emanating from bathroom - had to keep a/c running to avoid it being nauseating.nnStaff are friendly and helpful, which is the only good thing of this stay.
