We’re Screamin’ Veemis (Vee-meeze) and we’re for hungry people. We're a fast casual restaurant in the business of good food, keeping it simple and getting the basics right.

‘Veemi’ is long for ‘VMEP’, a popular Vietnamese scooter. If you’re lucky enough, you’ve been to Hanoi and dodged one of these bikes, way overstacked with baskets, ducks or kids (or maybe the lot). Under the weight of this crazed overstacking, the Veemis start to scream.

Screamin’ Veemis are beasts. They’re simple, fast, casual, and insanely effective, and they're on the flag we march behind. We challenge ourselves to be more like the Screamin’ Veemi, asking so little yet giving so much.

There’s a bit of Vietnam going on here. But if you’re trying to get all pho and rice paper, you’ll be disappointed. Our sandwiches have had but a kiss of Vietnam. A pinch of coriander here and a dash of pickled vegetables there.

This isn't a one way street. Veemis, banh mi, Vietnamese coffee; the streets of Vietnam have given us so much. So we give back to the streets. We give a percentage of sales to training at-risk young people in Vietnam to become chefs.
