Their social media advertising is dreadful; no stock and wrong products. The store is usually maintained ok. There have been many fridge and freezer issues. Staff lovely and usually helpful, they go through patches of being awesome but generally it is just OK.
This discount supermarket is similar to NQR in that it has many discontinued or B.B. date expired or close to expiry items. Rows of boxes and fridges against the walls hold items which have not sold in traditional supermarkets. Worth a visit if you are driving by - depending on what you like.
Good range of bargains, I definitely recommend staying tuned to their Facebook page for what's on sale for the week. Limited parking unsealed but does the job. Gets busy especially on weekends
All the items are expired I did not check fridge items, went to check due to a Facebook post, and was disappointed to see , false advertisement, pay less etc, but nothing mentioned that all the products in the store are expired, not going back again
Love going to Savemore Clearance Centre always plenty of quality food at reasonable prices.
Savemore Supe4market Clearance Centres Review Update 29/4/2021 There aren't many overrun items on sale, especially biscuits, chips and chocolate. Also missing are the cheeses. In fact, many vertical refrigerating units are gone. ___________________________ OK if you are prepared to buy items past used by or best used before dates. It depends on what surpluses the supermarket is able to source from. During festive seasons, there are plenty of relevant items at discounted prices on sale. Just be careful.with juices which past best used date. Fermentation may happen and excessive gas produced inside the bottle.
Great bargains and discount clearance shop for mostly food and grocery items in the south east of Melbourne on Princes Hwy. It's approximately a 40 min drive from Melbourne CBD, and plenty of parking around the side. Lots of good deals on chocolates cadbury, kinder, cheese, freezer items and ready microwave meals, ice cream, gum, breakfast cereals, muesli bars, chips, protein drinks, plus many other varieties of stuff. Stock rotates weekly so sometimes of they've run out, they've run out, and there will be something new in its place. Most items are either close to the best before date, or just after.
Varied stock close to use by date. Not really a place to do your weekly shop. Lots of lollies, dairy products, drinks and other not so healthy foods but all priced well.
My hubby and I are regular shoppers here, even though we are a small family but still can leave with a full trolley, range from beverages, frozen food, snack, household items etc, and they have different products from week to week I reckon, most of products are still under or close to their bb date, but still check b4 buying it. Overall, I would say it’s defo a great place to shop around
Great Place to explore and pick up some cheap deals for some odd and ends Not a major supermarket but that is part of its joy - Staff super nice
