I’ll give 2 stars as there were so many beautiful clothes, but oh my gosh the price!! It would be cheaper to go and buy everything brand new. I have NEVER been to a more expensive Savemart/Opshop in my life, I saw nothing under $10 which I thought ridiculous for the quality of some of the things I saw.
I recently discovered that there's a SaveMart near where I now live, which is really awesome, as the store is my go-to place whenever I have art projects, however, SM Takanini does not have many, actually not any, maybe I visited at a time when all that I needed were already purchased by others. I also noticed that prices of items are way higher than Onehunga and New Lynn, it's almost like purchasing 'brand new'. Bring the prices down so items get recycled to reduce landfill waste. Thanks.
Too pricey for secondhand clothes. I would rather buy clothes from warehouse or Kmart or buy them brand new from stores. I got a feeling they priced their clothes according to their labels which is not a good idea especially they secondhand clothes.
They have good quality clothes in here. Just need a bit of time to have a decent look around because there's so much. Clothes are sorted by colour and type which is visually nice, but would be more helpful if they were sorted by size as well.
At 3:15, the music is turned off, the gate is closed 90% and staff stare you down until you leave. Super awkward. They lock the door at 3:30 and do not accept cash. I’d recommend changing the posted hours.
I always loved visiting Savemart in Takanini, but on my recent visit, when about to try on clothes, most of them had a pungent smell of mice pee, so I left the store and clothes on rack, untried. DISTCUSTING and a health hazard. Wont be going back.
This place is a gem. It does take time to sort through all the clothing available, but even that is enjoyable. Very good pricing.
I dont know.why but every time I go there I never buy unlike Lynmall. However it is huge best to go with a plan of attack or you could be there for ages. Lots of over priced labelled brands that are out dated clothing which seems ridiculous. However there are some awesome deals with unknown labels that are next to new. Just need the time to look.
Always look forward to getting to Savemart when Im home. Best place to get any and all kinds of clothing, shoes. Fantastic prices, friendly staff. I go into regular stores now and think, "Meh, il get this at Savemart for heaps cheaper"
I love going there just to browse for random things that I need but don't want to spend too much money on but some of the items are still a bit expensive for a second hand shop
