Have been going to Savanna for years now. Have been to many Ethiopian restaurants and this is by far the best. The food is authentic and generous size and the quality is high standard. The service is excellent. Definitely recommend this restaurant!!

The shiro is the best you'll ever get outside Ethiopia, and the owner is amazing.  It's also one of the few places in Melbourne where you can get really good goat curry, and proper Ethiopian coffee.  It's a fantastic experience, and cheap enough to come regularly if you live close by.

Hidden Gem! Went there based on the reviews and was truly impressed. We had the Meat Share Platter for 2 and there was plenty of leftovers. Food felt home-cooked with just the right amount of spice. Definitely worth checking out if you're after some soul food!

We ordered the vegan share platter and omg it was delicious, she was even packed me some for lunch the next day. Will definitely be back.
