Good, honest food. All day breakfast, lunch, seven days. Dinner and evening bar on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Craft beer, wine by the glass.

Story

All-day breakfast and lunch and coffee and cake served seven days in a restored worker’s cottage and leafy backyard garden in Paddington, Brisbane.

We serve craft beer and good wine by the glass all week and open our afternoon bar and serve dinner on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Live music on Sunday afternoons.

Have been here twice for lunch now. Great menu, reasonable prices, and great location right in the heart of Paddington. Nice relaxed atmosphere and with pets allowed in the back courtyard will definitely be back with our little dog. The best reason to go is the service. Fantastic service, super friendly and fast service of food and drinks. A must visit in Paddington.

We went to Sassafras because it welcomes dogs to its courtyard area. But we’d go back because of the excellent service, genuinely friendly staff, delicious food. And the coffee was superb. I will recommend to all my friends. Thank you Sassafras!

The service was fast and food was amazing. The staff were great too. I had an amazing time! Easy to find a side park as well.

Busy restaurant had a 30 minute wait on food however we were informed on our arrival which was good. Food was delicious, sat out the back noticed it was also dog friendly.

Really beautiful venue, lovely staff and drinks are pretty good too. Didnt try the food myself, but my group loved what they had. Can get quite busy.
