The past two times we’ve been here the deep fryer oil has been dirty and old, today the horrible tangy oily taste of the chips stopped us getting past a couple of chips, two weeks earlier our hash browns were absolutely swimming in oil - I could wring them out like an old rag… it’s like they haven’t even changed the oil… edited: we did actually ask for replacement hashbrowns and they pretty much brought the same ones out againnnWe come here for the view mostly, which is a shame because it used to be a nice place for food.nnOther cons are very limited gluten free options, a couple very boring vegetarian options… maybe use some fresher ingredients and expand your menu past a few novelty coffee options?
The surroundings are beautiful, and the service is great. However, during my meal, there were more than five flies constantly hovering around my plate and even my body, and I had to keep shooing them away, which really ruined the experience. The current hygiene conditions are a bit poor…
Mum and I sat outside for lunch. Lovely view and nice breeze! The chicken skewers with rice and veggies were really good. Pham who served our table was lovely.
Love this place! The food and drinks were all great, down to the small details which made it memorable. Staff were so lovely, even cracking our fresh coconut in half so we could eat the coconut inside. They have a small play area for young kids which is nice. Street parking can get a little tricky during busy periods but totally worth the drive. Highly recommend

We chose to sit outside and enjoyed the stunning views overlooking Brisbane, which made the experience even more enjoyable.nThe breakfast was absolutely delicious, with generous portion sizes and fresh, high-quality ingredients. Everything was full of flavour and beautifully presented.nOverall, it was a fantastic breakfast experience and I will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend Chapter IV to anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and beautiful views.
