Have been going here for years with the previous owners and they made THE best calamari and fish 'n chips, the best!! Yesterday I had the same order as always. It was terrible, in fact we threw most of it away. The calamari were tasteless, chips were tough, not crunchy, tough as though they had been re-fried and the fish was very strong tasting (and not in a good way) with batter that was almost burnt on the outside but sticky on the inside. It all tasted of stale oil too. The staff were not particularly friendly either. Take note new owners, lift your offerings to the standard of the last owner's or like me, your customers are going to find an alternative place to buy fish and chips! 

I've read your comments after a negative review asking why people didn't call you to voice their dissatisfaction, the point is what are you going to do when they're 50 plus kilometres away on their 350 kilometre journey home and not coming back that way for another 6 months, promise them a credit note for next time?
Here's a thought...get it right first time, every time.....

I received a absolutely great meal this morning, Cod and Chips. The young lady who served me treated me with utmost respect and well mannered ( which is getting rare these days) great menu and location, in my opinion, if you are after a great experience and meal I recommend this fish shop. Don't forget about wide range of Burgers and Drinks etc.

I had crumbled fish and chips. Came with a good amount of chicken salt and slice of lemon. Very nice.
Went back the next day for a steak burger with the works. PERFECT.
Both meals were great, the service and pricing very good. I will be going back!

Odering  $5 chips for 5 people we get $2.00 worth doesn't feed 3 small kids and 2 adults and my kids are not a big eaters so what's going on there and last time i ordered the chips there were so many tiny end bits how can you give customers ends bits of chips worth  $5 you guys suck walker st take away is the best not you guys ..customers won't come back the way you serve .. don't know how to put the pictures otherwise you'll see what i mean.i have rang and complained then you did gave us more but then you gone back the same small amount how many times i have to ring and give the chips back to you. .so we can get chips thats worth feeding 5 people. .
