Love this place. I had the best ever Club Sandwich at the Sandbah cafe whilst penning my wedding speech here 5 years ago. I've actually dreamt about the sandwich from my UK home ever since so was delighted to find the place as busy as ever on my return to Torquay today and the infamous sandwich still taking pride of place on the mouth watering menu. Thank you Sandbah crew for making me a very happy chap. I will be back!
Perfect place for a relaxing breakfast or lunch, clean and tidy with fantastic and helpful staff. I highly recommend the Smashed Avo with Spinach and Mushrooms added and the Warm Chicken Salad with Grilled Chicken Breast, Spinach, Pumpkin, Capsicum, Walnuts, Red Onion, served with Flat Bread.
The Sandbah is a great “old faithful” cafe in Torquay! I love the generous portions and “home cooked” feel of the breakfast foods. Always good for a delicious giant mug of coffee also. Love this place.
We were on a strict time limit for a quick light lunch. From the second we walked in there was a super friendly welcome. The food was excellent, service and attitude the same. What a great place to have a toastie and coffee. This THE BEST toastie we have ever had anywhere in Australia and we’ve had them everywhere
Great place for all day breakfast. Great staff and business owner. Made us feel like we belonged to the community. Congratulated us on our recent marriage and sincerely engaged in a meaningful conversation. It doesn't take much to welcome a stranger. Thank you. We're eternally grateful.

Went there today with my wife, daughter and her family! Wow, what a great place. Very busy and looked like it was a full house. They quickly made available a table for the 8 of us. Made the kids feel very welcome. Great food, great value! Looks like a joint family owned business. We will be back, again and again. Well done guys, keep up the great work.
Our favourite Torquay cafe. We had lunch there today and as always the food and service was great. Generous potions, fresh and good coffee. The club sandwich was the best and the lady who served us was cheerful and helpful. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free option.
Great place for brunch. Good selection of food and drink with decent portions. The staff here are really friendly and welcoming.
