Michelle was absolutely incredible from start to finish. I had been looking for a particular chain, both delicate and durable, and able to hold a particularly sentimental pendant. and she recommended the absolute perfect option. Warm, wonderful, witty and skilled. I cannot recommend Salera’s enough - ask for Michelle!

Great place, and very friendly service! The shop has a really good watch selection incredibly helpful staff. Jess helped us decide on a very nice watch after lots of thought, and was super patient and helpful the entire way. Couldn't be happier with the watch I ended up with :
I was asked to be a Godfather and left it to the last minute to purchase a chain and pendant. I don't wear jewellery and had no idea what would be suitable. After shopping around at a few other jewellery stores in Southland, I still had no idea and became more confused. My last stop was Salera's. The service I received from Amanda, Mary and Jess was outstanding. Together we played a little process of elimination to select the perfect combination and I'm so happy with the final decision. I'm also confident my Godson's picky parents will be delighted. Thanks again ladies, couldn't have done it without you.
Just wanted to say thank you to the 2 lovely ladies serving today who were very kind and helped me find a perfect gift for a work colleague who is moving abroad. They took note of my budget and what I was looking for, and helped me find a pair of opal earrings that I'm very happy with. They were not pushy and gave me great service, thanks so much!
Purchased a last minute gift for my two sons on Xmas eve, the girls were amazing! I felt really welcomed, Jess was lovely & very helpful and gave me the right advise for my purchases, that's why l bought two necklaces, my sons loved them, l wanted a gift they could treasure. Was shopping for a birthday present for myself - wanted a bracelet I could wear every day, and specifically asked for a piece that wears for every day wear. Spent a few hundred on a bracelet, but the clasp was sub par and kept coming undone by itself, nearly lost the bracelet a few times. Took it into a saleras store and the staff member just bent it closed more with her fingers and gave it back. Clasp kept coming undone and it’s totally useless and I can’t wear it. Don’t waste your money on their ill made jewellery.
Very disappointed with Saleras. My wife gave them 2 rings that needed to be resized and we were told they would take a maximum of 2-3 weeks to do the job. 4 weeks later and they are still not available for pick up. We had a formal occasion last night that my wife was desperate to wear her rings at - We were told the rings COULD be picked up at the city store so I dont understand why Salera didnt courier them to Southland given that they were already a week late and we needed them urgently. The only option given to us was "collect them yourself from the city store". I tried to do this however parking is non-existant anywhere near the store so I could not go in. My wife ended up attending the function without her wedding rings. Poor service in every respect Saleras!
About 3 years ago I purchased an extremely expensive rosegold popcorn chain at Saleras Southland. It was a $2000 chain that I have worn less than 10 times. It has proven to be very cheaply made and has fallen to pieces on me. My experience is as follows. Initially I wore it three times. To my astonishment I returned to my car in a parking lot the chain was lying next to the drivers door! Its amazing it had not been picked up by someone else or fallen elsewhere and lost for good. The round link joining the clasp to the chain had not been soldered. The link had opened a hair width letting the clasp still attached to its eyelet fall of the chain! Horrified, I took it back to the store and ask for it to be fixed. I was told it would cost me $50 to have it soldered. Apparently, they don't come with all of their clasp links soldered. Okay, so grudgingly I accepted. It was extremely unfair but nothing else I could do about the situation, I didnt want to take the chance to loose it again! Needless to say I have barely worn it. I took it out the other day and decided it was a waste to keep it protected and hidden in my Jewelry box. Afterall, I had purchased it to actually wear! Now after wearing it twice more gently with no pendant!, miniture scales have literally flaked off and left gaping dark holes in my chain. I attached a picture so you can see what I am trying to explain. This is so unacceptable. I cannot return it because even if I had the receipt management would only argue that it had been too long since the purchase date or it was somehow my fault. Never ever have I had problems with fine jewelry. Please do not waste your hard earned money on Jewelry at Saleras. Go anywhere but here.
Terrible experience with this store honouring a warranty with a Raymond Weil watch. It's the second time I've had problems with this watch since I received it in just over 12 months ago. The latest issue being that I simply couldn't change the time on the watch - only the date would change. After having it in repair for a couple of weeks I then received a call and an email stating the repair bill $500 to have the watch fixed even though the watch is still under a 3 YEAR WARRANTY. I didn't receive a clear explanation as to how the part had broken and how a $500 repair bill was justified except that I had 'forced' it and therefore it wasn't covered under the warranty. For the record, I have a couple of watches nearly 20 years old in perfectly good working order and never broken one in my life. Also, I don't even wear this watch everyday so it hasn't been subject to 'force' of any kind. The store has been inflexible on exchange or refund despite the watch still being under warranty I'd even settle for an exchange- I'm not even asking for my money back. The store did however offer a 'reduced' repair fee. Which made me wonder- how is this possible? Isn't' the cost of a repair the cost- parts and labour? How is a cost of $500 justified? So I called the Raymond Weil HO in Sydney querying the cost breakdown of a $500 repair and they advised they can't disclose their actual repair cost because Salera's is a third party and charge whatever they want on top of the actual repair cost that RW charges. I am therefore further shocked and and astounded that this retailer is profiteering from a repair. Futhermore, the apparent act of 'good will' by offering a cheaper repair cost was completely false because they inflate these costs anyway. How is this in any way customer service?
