Went in to exchange a ring bought for xmas that was uncomfortable and clunky to wear, waited 30 min in line to enter the store and therefore was nearly late for our movie session, I provided the receipt and explained the situation and asked for store credit note as we were out of time to shop... I was then told "Pandora offer no form of store credit and offer exchange only".... I told them "I would have been happy to exchange but now had no time due to lining up to enter the store and requested a gift card in place of credit", they were not willing to do this either and asked "why I couldnt come back another time? "(as long as it was within 14 days of purchase) I replied "because I am here now..... why should I come back because your company policy is unethical and unreasonable in not offering a store credit for use at MY (the customer) convenience? "After ensuring 3 girls told us "they do not usually do it" - they produced a gift card for the amount of the ring. I will be ensuring consumer affairs is aware that Pandora are operating outside standard retail practices for their exchange/refund policy by not offering credit in the case of product exchanges.
