The seafood there is really fresh & tasty. Great entrees Great main. Very nice staff. You can’t go wrong with the staff recommendation! The only thing is that they only have main course of fish on the day I go. Hopefully they will have more variety of main course in the future. Will come back for sure

“Simply outstanding food. Prepared with care and respect for great ingredients. Best seafood in Sydney. FT recommended highly. Only Australian wine.” My review from 3 months ago and 5*. Sadly SP is moving towards the “chips” style market. We ate here last night, although the entrees were outstanding, the main courses were a little disappointing and the sides appalling. Crumbed deep fried parsnip chips were typical American fast food chain style and poor for any restaurant let alone a professional place like this. Potato scallops prepared the same way. The waiter said they were the most popular thing on the menu so downmarket it goes. Shame.

Had an amazing time, as a soul diner i stuck to the smaller dishes as I wanted to try as much as I could. Nothing disappointed. Oysters were fresh and awesome! The cuttlefish eye chip and smoked eel was an amazing start. I was always hesitant to order bugs as I've had some unpleasant experiences but this one is incredibly moist and tender with a beautiful smoked seafood sauce. The mackerel and its accompaniments were perfectly paired with a Chardonnay. A great experience! Staff were knowledgeable and friendly! Recommend going on a Tuesday!

Small and cosy. Service was attentive and fast. Food changes regularly, but expect lots of fish and seafoid. Book early, be on time and have a fantastic meal. Try the oysters, the crumbed garfish, the potato scallops, and the diced Samson. The lemon tart is also a must... Happy dining!
