Story

St Kilda is known for her interesting layers, infamous characters and colourful establishments that usually find their way into our history books through their notoriety.

One of those establishments with more than an assorted history is Saint Martins Place on St Kilda Road. First established in 1867, she has been home to many infamous characters, events and known by many names.

As they say…. “Never Judge A Book By Its Cover”
StMP is known as one of those well-read unassuming books from the outside, however once you walk thru the doors, a world of intrigue and amazement draws you into its many chapters.

With full catering facilities available to add to your event, function or production.

StMP is a fully licensed two level multi-purpose venue with the ability to operate each level independently or interconnected giving it the flexibility to host all types of events/shows/functions from 30 – 350 people.

Level one: Mezzanine – capacity 30 - 100
Inspired by the 1920's underground decadence of the ‘Speak Easy Dens’, Mezzanine is an intriguing venue consisting of various social areas, a dedicated full bar, external smoking terrace, fully equipped music/dance area and vip lounge which all make for the perfect setting as an exclusively unique space for social groups, unique performances, exhibitions, private/corporate functions, cocktail parties and even smaller more exclusive style underground events.

Ground floor: StMP – capacity 50 - 300
A space all of its own or with the ability to intergrade with level one, StMP boasts a main room with curtained stage, a lounge/VIP room with open fireplace, dinning/lounge area, full kitchen, outdoor open-air & shaded smoking area. This amazing ground floor space is also ideal for Dance parties, Private Functions, Social group gatherings, Xmas parties, Music/Product launch parties, Cultural ceremonies, Film/TV/Music-video and Photo location shoots and Industry wrap-up parties etc... With the ability to transform from a Show-room setting for up to 90 seats to a cocktail/event/function space to cater from 50 to 300. We can host any type of event/function only limited by imagination.

Courtyard:
Open-air, Shaded and Under-cover all weather secret garden.
This multi-dimension space can be utilised day or night.
Combined with the internal venue, this unique space is ideal for day parties, sunset sessions, cocktail parties, social gatherings and even the odd performance.
