Las Tapas

Absolutely LOVED the atmosphere. I felt back in Europe. The tapas were good, Wine was amazing too. Can’t wait to go back with friends to spend the entire night enjoying the vibe there

One of my favourite tapas restaurants in Melbourne. Great wine selection and the food menu is always changing but every time I've been it's all delicious. Restaurant is small, boutique and has a the best atmosphere for a tapas restaurant!

I was so excited to come to Las Tapas but left feeling frustrated and upset. After our mains we waited 45 minutes for our dessert after being told they would be coming shortly. Only when we got up to leave did the kitchen start preparing our churros. We decided we had waited long enough and just wanted to pay and leave. We asked for some compensation and were informed that only our dessert would be taken off the price of our bill. We requested that we also receive our drinks complimentary (2x beers, not an outrageous request) for our long waiting time but were rejected. When we asked front of house if we could speak to the manager she came back and told us the manager was busy and not able to talk to us. When we said we would pay for our meal minus dessert and 2x drinks, front of house said they were going to call the police. We felt pressured to pay an unreasonable amount and felt that if we could have spoken to the manager the matter would have been rectified easily.

Absolutely beautiful food, and a very fun, vibrant atmosphere. The service was a little rushed, but we were a group on a Saturday night so we were probably a little hard to handle. I will definitely be going back on a weeknight to try more of their dishes.

WOW! We've been graced to travel around the world, but Las Tapas, with Spiro and Xavier, amazing! The daily fresh menu shows off the embarrassing qualities of ingredients that local Victorian produce has to offer cooked with a Catalonian accent! Embarrassing? Not for us but for the Spanish! Thanks guys!
