Really like this place, I usually get a coffee and something from the bakery like the cinnamon scroll or meringue. Both lovely I also did notice the music was getting way too loud with dance music and sometimes inappropriate rap with swearing so I stopped dropping in, but on this sat morning when I went it was turned down and lower tempo music.. much better day atmosphere
Went today and ordered 2x croissants and bacon and eggs on sound ought which all came out quick and where great. The issue was with the drinks, we ordered 1 x small flat white, a strawberry milkshake and an essperso milkshake which came out after we finished eating and after I complained, at the same time people who where in after us received their drinks before we did, this is not the first time this has happened to us.
First and last time buying anything from the Ruby G market stall. $9.50 for an Almond Croissant, and it is definitely not that special. I cannot see how they can justify that price
I‘m just passing through Darwin and couldn’t help but stop at my favourite breakfast and lunch spot Ruby Gs!!! I lived here when they first opened and their food, service and atmosphere has never disappointed! Highly recommend this place!!!
Shared a large cinnamon palmiere here this morning 2/9/24, gorgeous pastry, super fresh finger licking good. The rest of the pastry delights looked amazing. Coffee was very good, service was friendly and efficient. The brunch/lunch menu looked interesting and we'll be back to try it. We sat outside in the front to catch the breeze as it was too hot for us inside. Great looking place, too bad its not the sort of building that lends itself to better cooling. Highly recommend a stop here.
