The bakery boasts an impressive range of baked goods. However, the apple donut left a bit to be desired in terms of moisture and flavor. The veggie pie was ok, but a little spicy.nIt would be appreciated if the service could be a touch more amiable and understanding, especially when warming up items is requested. A suitable spot to drop in if you're in the area, but not a top priority to visit.
An amazing cafe in a nice spot close to the city. They have an excellent variety of savoury and sweet pastries, with their pies being my favourite. It's a good place to dine-in out of the heat, have a glass of cold water and grab a bite to eat.nnThe staff and management were excellent in ensuring that my order and other customers were seen too in a timely fashion.nnI had a friend here who ordered a fruit platter from the bakery and it was excellent. I also cannot recommend any other place apart from Parap bakery for their custom cakes as well.nnOne thing that had my curiosity was the potential for more vegetable options to be available on the menu. It's only my personal suggestion, I think the current menu is pretty good.
Not one to usually review but $12 for a sub par loaf of rye bread had us shocked. Price was not advertised but loaf was amongst others listed at $8. Not worth it. Not a great taste, texture.
We bought two takeaway coffees, a croissant and apple fritter which cost $21. The coffees were average but the croissant was dry and stale. At $5.50, I would expect a fresh croissant from a bakery, not one that has been sitting there for a week.
An alternative to the Asian cuisine across the road at the markets. Eggs as well as toasties, pies, sausage rolls and plenty of bakery treats. There is also ice cream in a cone available to satisfy the kids or kids in us all. Good service, ok coffee and plenty of cold drinks.
