Well, second time here tonight in a couple of weeks. It remains a small Japanese (quite authentic) restaurant. Don’t expect long menus and a sushi train .... more rustic Charme, and a bit different presentation. So good to go out without fuzz and not expecting grand cuisine but get positively surprised

Food The food was fresh and delicious. Ordered sashimi, salmon, sukiyaki (which was delightfully sweet and salty), gyoza (crispy bottom and thin wrappers), grilled octopus (nicely flavoured and charry), octopus salad, tuna salad, wagu beef sushi rolls and sushi (fresh and sweet). Ambiance Nothing to write home about but it’s nice enough. Service Service was attentive and friendly. One of the waitresses even joked around with us at one point.

Amazing fried flounder! Sashimi was so fresh and lovely. Tuna belly was a little stringy... Bri no tataki was pretty good too. Going back to try some more dishes soon.

Authentic Japanese cuisine, nice staff and good atmosphere!

Poor service. Four strikes in customer service - 1) Meal served missing a dish 2) one dish served seared when ordered as nigiri sushi 3) corrected dish served after 30 minute wait (restaurant was only half full) and 4) corrected dish served without wasabi. Much too expensive for the food quality to have to deal with multiple wait staff issues.
