Story

I am a keen tropical fish breeder, keeper and seller, and have been keeping tropical fish for 40 years. At present I have 300 tanks to view so takes awhile. Open 7 days from 11am to 1 pm daily but other times to suit can be arranged.

Very simple layout nothing pretty to look at but if you want to buy tropical fish it is the place to go, a lot cheaper than other shops with expert staff, I buy all my fish from here.
My partner and I brought six neon fish today from Rodney's we enjoyed the experience and found the staff to be helpful, warm and friendly. If you are looking for fish at a affordable price you should check them out.
Bought few fishes and what an experience. All the suggestions were great and prices were great. Very knowledgable and friendly staff.
These guys have all types of fish in this shop. Even the odd Gold Fish. Anything you ask, they know the answer to - very polite. Great prices! Wouldn't go anywhere else but Rodney's

Horrible experience! I made a reservation couple of time and they will send a confirmation then suddenly they will sell it to others! I did leave all my details on the store, even they sent a text confirmation that they will hold it, then still sell it to others
Great advice and great service. The guys were happy to demonstrate their suggestion to solve our problem. We even came home with a new pet. We understand now why Rodney's has such a respected name amongst fish keepers.
Was my first time to Rodney’s a couple weeks ago. We are restocking our new 700litre tank and he has a great range of fish and was very helpful and I normally have only bought from the big chain petstores due to hours they are open but I’ll now always be going back to Rodney’s. Very well price and comes with friendly advice We got some discus and ghost knife and few cat fish and some guppies among other small fish. Big big A+ from us. See you guys next time we are in chch
