One of the best book shops I found recently a year or 2 ago in Melbourne. I was a customer of Borders and Dymocks bookshops for decades. Unfortunately Borders closed down it's stores in Australia and very hard to find Dymocks stores these days and to my delight I found the Robinson's bookshop in South Morang. The bookshop is small but has wide variety of books for everyone. I grow up with Enid Blyton, Tintin and Asterix and you can get these here among other modern books for toddlers to adults. The bookshop has books in classic covers which is very very nice and hard to find these days anywhere else. Located inside the Plenty Valley Westfield and transport hub. Reading books seems less these days at least in the physical form. E books are very convenient mind you and I got as lot too but nothing can beat reading a good paper based book. Staff at the store is very helpful and friendly. The books are not cheap if you compare to QBD or online but not too expensive either. And also some of the books I saw here I didn't see it anywhere. Special orders can be done as well at the shop. Just got the 10 years of Marvels Iron Man collectors edition from the shop. Excellent service.
I have only been here a few times since it opened with the new Westfield add-on, but it is quite a nice store. Many different categories of books, Non-fiction to fiction, cooking and comics and many more. The store is small but they use the space efficiently with bookcases and book-stands. There is limit at on the moment as to how many people can be in the store at once it is 5 When I went in though there were no customers in the store. The store attendant did not welcome me or ask if I needed any help, which I didn't I knew what I had to get I was just browsing before purchasing. There was only one store attendant and she looked busy so I didn't mind that I wasn't attended to. Will most likely come back here again as it is a good store to buy books from .

Big well laid out store friendly staff, plenty of out front bargains, if you can't find it ask them they can order in by title and authors, good asset to plenty valley patrons.
Lovely wooden decor and very friendly staff who go the extra mile. Wide variety of books, knick-knacks, booky accessories and even manga novels. Guaranteed to find something you like!
Good collection of books on various topics. Best thing is staff knows exactly where the specified book is. Very nice environment and ambience overall.
We like the shop itself and find most books of reasonable price but we have experienced incidents of rude behaviour on two seperate occasions. Walking up to pay for the books at the register, there was no eye contact and I had to say hi for her to take my book and put the sale through. We weren't even greeted, no smile or small talk and no Thankyou/ goodbye. Not a nice atmosphere. The other book store in Westfield is so inviting and the staff so friendly. I know which store will get my business.
Pretty overpriced and the service was quite poor and rude when making a purchase. Also 15c card fee is a bit steep and unnecessary. Clearly covering card costs is more important than having return loyal customers.
Feel incredibly ripped off. Purchased a book for $40 then googled the title out of curiosity to see I could have purchased it for $13 down the road. Crazy! Also with the current hygiene practices in place I asked the staff if I could pay with cash - the response was "we'd prefer card", so I abided by their preference. Then she states "just so you know there's still a surcharge" - even for savings account! Absolute rip off of a store. Definitely will not return.
Love just browsing. Usually end up picking up something. Their layout could be better but it's as close to a cottage village bookshop as it can be, being a chain bookstore..if only they had a reading corner with BYO coffee. I'd pay to sit there for an hour to browse books with the intent to buy one. Have a membership. Worth it.
