We had the best meal on Saturday evening. They were really busy, but the staff did an awesome job and the service was perfect. All our dishes were amazing and the waitress was super helpful with my Gluten Free questions. We are regulars now, and can't wait till our next visit.

Incredible place to visit. The gift shops are packed with all sorts of beautiful goodies ...all colour coordinated and looking perfect! Food is tasty and beautifully presented. But the best part are the vegetables gardens that supply the restaurant with a castle in the background complete with a mote!!! Great place for families and husbands who don't know what to buy for their wives on their birthday ;) Riverstone Kitchen is definitely a place you want to visit and experience for yourself!!!!

The grounds and playground are amazing for kids. Perfect place to stretch small legs on a roadtrip. Most of the meals are great, the squid meal is like eating a bowl of coriander and lemon juice. ..I guess some people like that though.

Always top notch food. One of the best places in the South Island, and you can walk in wearing jandals. It's laid back lush. Great beer and wine selection to match the seasonal menu as well.

Came all the way from north island and cafe not open! Last time I came not open either.very disappointed and it's Wednesday Only wanted a coffee and scone! Too much stuff but beautiful gardens and setting.
