Story

The Galleon Family Complex, situated at the north end of Oamaru, is your one stop for family fun, great meals and a place to catch up with friends.

Come in and enjoy our family friendly atmosphere, have a go at tenpin bowling before or after you have a meal in our restaurant, or grab a drink and a bite to eat from our bar.

Our restaurant can seat 90 people at any one time, while we can also cater to larger groups and functions, with a fully furnished function room that can seat up to 120 people.

For those looking to have some fun while they are here, we have an 8 lane tenpin bowling alley, an arcade games area for the kids, as well as an 18 machine class 4 gaming room.

Great location. Good food. I loved how they present the surf and turf. Just wish we can have add ons to it. Fish and chips was also great. It was a great deal booking with First Table.
Staff were friendly and really accommodating and the food was fantastic. A great experience enhanced by the large gaming area located onsite. Recommend stopping here to break that travel and enjoy great hospitality coupled with great food. Will be stopping here again.
After taking 5 days of calling/stopping in to make a booking. We were told we could reserve 2 lanes for 1pm.nWe arrive, and we are told they don't reserve lanes and they only had 1 available because 2 were broken.nWe said we have 9 to bowl booked 7 but had 2 extras and would like 2 lanes as we were promised.n$126 later, we start bowling.nWe decided to get some snacks and a drink.n$14 for a glass of beer, $63 for a supermarket meatlovers pizza and chips with half a dozen waffle fries. Which we had no table in our lane area to place them.nIf it wasn't for a 5 hear old begging to go bowling for her birthday, we wouldn't be here.nWe will not be back. Staff are rude and inattentive.nEdited to add we were actually over charged 17 ateast depending on how much they charged for the 15year old who forgot her student id
Jodi and Eri for the party food and party are fabulous.nFantastic value for money they have every thing covered.nDamian the bowling manager is Fantastic he was busy but looked after us really well.
Went for a meal then black light ten pin bowling. We enjoyed our meals and the staff was friendly. People that I spoke to were uncertain that it was open. Well it is and doing great. Would recommend going here. Loved the 10 pin bowling and it's cheaper on Thursdays only $7 per game.
