1330hrs order K#1015nnMy son and I ordered Zinger Box and a Tower Burger combo. Just wonderful and great prompt service. The store and toilet was amazingly clean and an excellent amount of soap from the dispenser to wash your hands. Thought we'd come here than our usual Timaru KFC stop. Well worth the extra 50 minute drive time.nMy son found his Zinger filet long and filling. My Tower had a good amount of sauce and it was very tasty for someone who hasn't had KFC for a good year or so. The bone chicken pieces from his box meal was cooked well through with just the right amount of juiciness. Chips were chrisp with a very nice amounts of seasoning. I was able to translate the French tourist family that came in and were enjoying their KFC with the father looking around to see where he actually was French KFCs are crap. The KFCs in Christchurch, need to learn from the Oamaru Flagship. Well done to you all!
The food was okay once the order was completed took 20mins as we had to wait for chicken. One thing that I didn’t like was the fact they made my burger first so it say there waiting the 20mins for the chicken, then once I left the store found that the burger wasn’t made to order they way I requested via the ordering system. I ordered without lettuce however it came with it.. given I had to wait 20mins for the chicken and the burger just sat there they could have at least got that part correct.
Could you advise me how could eat potato gravy without spoon? Plus you don’t even put napkin in the box. I feel awful! My Oder happen around 8:20pm 29/08/2025
​I absolutely loved my dinner at kfc ! The food was outstanding—every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. Beyond the excellent meal, the staff was incredibly nice and attentive, making us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in the door. The atmosphere is so friendly and inviting, perfect for a date night or a relaxed meal with friends. Seriously, if you're looking for great food, warm service, and a lovely vibe, you have to try this place. We'll definitely be back!
