My wife and I had a lovely lunch on the way to see the houses featured on The Block in Elsternwick. Brunch menu offerings very different but great. Presentation and taste of desserts were outstanding! Female staff very welcoming and friendly with the right degree of attentiveness without being intrusive. Premises a bit Spartan, but hey we were there for the food not the furnishing!

Offered tap or sparkling water from a carafe, prior to ordering, had sparkling water. Drank two sips. Charged $4 on the bill, for "house sparkling". If you make it in a soda machine, perhaps mention that you will be charging as much as a coffee for it. When I queried it, I was told it's to pay for the gas. It appears nowhere on the menu that I could see. Unethical, ridiculous!!! It's not San Pellegrino ffs...

Great food. Fantastic service. Juat near the station so no need to drive, just catch the train and relax dueing your meal with a cocktail or glass of wine. Food was delicious. Dessert was outstanding.
