Phoned to enquire about a product- lady put it aside for me and when I got there they were so busy.Was really happy with the way the staff handled the mad rush - the lady I had spoken to on the phone earlier found the product and sorted me out while multitasking - grateful that she was so efficient :-

Very good quality paint from Resene and friendly staff make the shopping experience very pleasant. The shop also has a small but very useful range of painting accessories so you can make this a one-stop-shop for your painting needs and they also keep very good hours. Keep up the good work Resene Colour shop Upper Hutt.

Dropped in to purchase some thinner for a painting job and was told that they couldn't help me find an appropriate thinner nor actually sell me any because I wasn't purchasing any paint at the same time and to quote the shop assistant, "Even account holders can be drug manufactures". 1. I fail to see how buying paint suddenly stops someone manufacturing drugs if they just want the thinner. Wouldn't they just throw the paint away? 2. It's bad form to suggest your customers are drug users. 3. If I was, which I'm not a drug dealer nor user I'm hardly going to buy product where you have on record my name, address, phone number etc. I have pumped tens of thousands of product sales through Resene over the years and the experience I had was let's just say just plain awful!!!

Team are always awesome and have the right advice to save us time and money ensuring we are using rhe correct products for the task at hand.

I regularly review local businesses, and really value the service they provide our local community.  Unfortunately, Resene ColorShop may be the worst customer service I have ever encountered.  I will never shop here again.

Used to be a great place for advice, not now! Dont have stock in store and no good with advice. I will be choosing Mitre 10 instead
