Fast friendly service, striking views & decent food - and all for a very reasonable price!! The parking is $6 an hour so maybe skip it & walk along the beach to get there. Or you can park in the woolies car park for a lot less & take a stroll along down to the beach

Great place. Great location.  Amazing atmosphere. Stuff just ok (not bad tho). Pretty busy usually. 
I don't give the fifth star because the menu is not very nice. Food is all right. Just not a wide variety and well... food is just not noticeable.

Due to location at beachfront, price is understandably higher. Fresh but small oysters. Rump was good but 4 flavours does not go well with one another. Tiger prawns linguine tastes rather like homecook - variant mix but does not bring out unique features of the dish. fish & chips (barramundi) was good. overall nice place on. Tuesday evening with a single guitar singer. well done.

Great place. Just the worst bar staff ever!!! One retard in particular with a triangle tattoo, who serves females only. Came in a crowd of ten or so (as usual) and tested it out 4 times. Females get service and a flirt. Guys do not get service. Even if you’ve been standing there for ages (over 15min)! Annoyed everyone enough as it’s usually the guys that get the drinks. Screw this. It’s been the last catch up here. Don’t want to serve us. Going elsewhere from now on. Last straw! The only bartender working normally was the one with the short hair. Poor dude has to work hard to cover for Mr Tringle lack of work. 

Otherwise the food and the waitresses would have earns a 5 star rating! Just bad bar staff and ignorant management who definitely don’t manage the floor.

Saturday night 7pm. Firstly, the food was decent. But the service was awful; the door staff were rude and even though I had a reservation, I still had to line up - which was nonsense. The girl taking our order, literally forgot our mains. There aren't enough toilets and the music was unnecessarily loud in the restaurant section. I feel that Republica is trying to be everything for everyone and doesn't quite do anything really well. Would not go again.
