The tall brunette bar tender on Saturday night snatched banks cards and and poured drinks poorly and shouted at us when outside drinking areas was closing. She only gave us less than 1 min notice of the outside closing time and poured our drinks out on the street when we said we would finish and move. They served two espresso martini's that they spilled half on the floor to unsuspecting customers. Travelling around Aussie, I would never visit this pub again and would recommend others to bypass and find a more welcoming pub to drink in St Kilda. I think this pub was a poor representation of the Aussie culture.

Was treated rude by a staff member who worked behind the bar. I have travelled from Tasmania to spend a nice weekend in Melbourne and quite frankly expected a lot more from St Kilda than this. My friends and I were turned off the pub's level of hospitality and ended up deciding to leave and have an overpriced wine at our hotel instead. I would encourage anyone wanting to have a relaxing drink not to go to this venue and be treated disrespectfully from their staff as we were.

Great little local bar. Decent beverage list, nice interior and atmosphere, good soundtrack and lovely staff.

The bar lady (tall brunette with Yellow top) was incredibly abrupt and rude during bar service, huffed when we asked for a receipt and put off the general vibe that she did not want to serve anyone. Whilst we were sitting outside she barked at our table, stating that we need to finish our drinks and cigarettes then move on in side we acknowledged her announcement and continued to finish our cigarette with one glass of wine on the table with a sip left. She came back after less than one minute, barked at us again and I responded saying that we are finishing our smoke and she could take our glass if she needed. She then huffed at us, grabbed the glass, sprayed the wine acrossefvthe street and road and stormed off. Apart from our unpleasant experience from this particular staff member, the place was fine and drinks were priced and tasted as expected. I will not be visiting this pub again and suggest you take a walk slightly down the road to somewhere that will make you feel welcome.

Pricey for their cocktails which aren't that good. Have also heard a few complaints from others about the staff. I thought the design of the venue eas great so hopefully theyll improve
