Seems like I am not the only one to experience such horrible customer service! I picked up a couple of items advertised on the huge digital screens wish there was an option to upload images so I could share but was told the items were not in the “system”. Even when I told them they could be fined for false advertising, was pretty much told to p!ss off! Not sure why the airport admin have not taken any action given the terrible reviews.
Will never buy anything from Relay ever again. I walked out of the international arrivals and bought a sim card in the first closest place to the entrance which happen to be Relay. Paid $29 for 2GB of data. Got out of the airport and moved to the hotel. While in the hotel, I checked my number balance and found that they didn't topped it up. So, I played $29 for tiny bit of plastic and had to pay $29 again to Vodafone to get the data. Avoid the place at any cost!
Horrific experience at Relay Auckland airport store pre-departure. When questioning why the item scanned at a higher price to the shelf price I was told to take it or leave it. I then opted to take the item only to have change thrown at my daughter accompanied by a seriously bad attitude. If this is how departing passengers are treated I won’t be calling on this store when next I return home with my family. Sunday 17.07.22 at around midday
Finally found the magazines I was looking for and they had them in stock, they are finally improving, very Amazing store because they sell lots of interesting things like Aeroplane models and lots of magazines to buy as well.
I have to say they’re the best magazine and book store in Auckland they should open one outside airport I will be there every time for magazine and books. Nice and tidy to everyone I strongly recommended.
I needed gifts for children and it had something for all of them! Heaps of selections, a bit of premium pricing but you'd expect that at an airport.
$16.99 for paracetamol and terrible service.
