Cheap beer and wine punching above their weight. I appreciate the beer, and the food specials are exceptionally good for their cost. The only let down is interior seating, there's only about 1 good spot to sit - however, on a nice day the balcony is excellent.
We were looking forward to a great 80s night last weekend so headed to Redlove. The DJ played some great music but kept cutting the songs by about half, before they got to the best bit. What is the point of that?! In the end just we left cause it was no fun.
Has different discount each day of week. There are also happy hours everyday when you can get large cup of drink for only $5. The surrounding may not as great as you would expect from a luxury restaurant, but it comes up with pretty reasonable price of everything
Excellent place if you're out with your friends and want to listen to badly remixed 80's music. Huge dance floor, for well - dancing, and ample seating - if chilling is your thing; dim lighting and a bar you have to navigate throngs of gyrating people to get to - and you have the makings of a good night out...if you don't mind the music that is.
Unfortunately we came to the establishment and we were immediately told tonight Friday was Christmas functions only. We know that this wasnt the case due to others attending. Its disappointing as it was our friends birthday who we were taking out and wanted to arrange bottle service. Seems another club with discrimination at its best esp due to our ethnicity. Do not go to Red Love unless you fit their curtain criteria.
Red Love yesterday lost a group of 10 people because of a rude and an aggressive bouncer Number 19 at the door. While I can accept the club enforcing their licencing regulations ie. not letting people in drunk, curfew times what I have a problem is when the bouncers take pleasure in aggravating people. I questioned his behavior, so he decided to refuse entry to me and also to my friend who was standing next to me, and not saying a word. And the guy smirked while doing it!!! He can enjoy his 5 second power trip, while I'll be taking my business and all of my friends somewhere else.
$25 minimum on card but yet 4 house and mixer drinks don't add up to $25. Pretty much no cash no serve if you are by yourself. ''Its an RSA issue'' that you can't buy 4 special offer drinks in one go. But buying 8 standard drinks are absolutely fine - BY YOURSELF! Mmmm sure. More like ''profit issue'' Coming from someone who has never left a bad review or complained in his entire life and is also RSA licenced. Won't be long before this place shuts down carrying on like that
Had my 50th bday party in the function area which is intimate and has plenty of seating. The 80's music had us dancing all night. Mature crowd.
Firstly, served by an apparant member of ISIS. Secondly, some rediculoisly illogical drink offer/minimum card transactional value which mercilessly forces you into a charged cash withdrawl if socialising and buying drinks with more than one individual.
First time there as was recomended by friends who l found later hadent been for 6mths. Very disappointing; no ginger beer, no tap beer and $10 for a stubbie...... One beer and walked.
