Update 28/11/2023;nIn answer to 'Response from owner' I am extremely surprised your manager/s are not reading these reviews here. May be you should send them a link.These comments from customers should be treated like gold.I don't need, or want to chat with a manager. Or fill in a survey. I have done my bit. I believe my photos and review say it all very succinctly. Whether your manager reads my review here or makes changes is entirely up to them. The cut and paste response to my review bothers me too as I was happy with the food and service. I did rate this restaurant 4 stars on that very thing.nnOriginal review;nFriendly and accommodating staff here. I must say from the outset, I wasn’t sure about this restaurant as the outside of it wasn’t very appealing or welcoming. Some of the traditional story signage had badly faded and what looked like it was once, or maybe still is, the outdoor dining area seemed unloved. I guess the word I’m looking for is tired. All of this on show as you enter. Once inside the restaurant we were met by helpful friendly staff who were able to accommodate some small changes to a regular line which we were very grateful for. The meal was tasty, and the serving sizes were about right. Today’s 4 stars is for the meal. We would return.
What a joke. Haven't been here for years. Thought I'd give it a go again. Asked what was in the Reds Box and was told content's, burger, chips, piece of chicken, potato and gravy & a drink. Said ok I'll have a large one with with Solo. Get back to work open bag & wow only a burger and chips. Called up to complain, got told yeah I took the order, sorry we messed up! I'm not driving back when I've already got back to work. Incompetence at its best. Disappointed. No wonder KFC is busier.
I got door dash delivered last night. My 8 piece hot honey pack had 3 wings. $4.80 a piece. Far from happy. 2 large coleslaws. No dressing. $46 later; very unhappy
Fried chicken was so oily I could feel my arteries clogging up just by touching it. Was pretty yummy though.nnGiving 4 stars instead of 3 because the girl who gave me my food was a cutie
3 hours and still no food. We had to cancel our order or wait another hour. It’s 9:15pm already. Will not be ordering again and Red Rooster was my favourite takeaway. Very disappointed as I hadn’t had it in a while and was looking forward to it but 3 hours to have it delivered? That’s ridiculous. Every other place we’ve ordered from is usually between 30 mins to an hour tops.
