Mexican Kitchen Restaurant Bendigo was established in 1974. It is located in the heart of Bendigo and it’s well known to locals and visitors for its Mexican and Spanish Cuisine.

Story

Mexican Kitchen is a local restaurant in the heart of Bendigo. Our mission is to make a Mexican feast for everyone to enjoy!

We serve a wide range of food from Mexican and Spanish inspired cuisine which includes tacos, nachos, quesadillas and much more. Our menu also caters for those seeking gluten free options and also many vegetarian and vegan meals are available as well.

Being a busy restaurant full of life on every night of the week, we take bookings here there and everywhere. Whether it is a table for 2 or a party of 30 we can make a great night happen for you.

Fantastic place.  Love the food. Great staff and reasonable price. Better than "Taco Bills" in my opinion. Have been there quite a few times.

Attention to detail was average at best. Many of the plates the food was served on had old, cold cheese from who knows how long ago stuck both to the top and bottom of the plates. Food was ok, but after seeing how sanitary the serving plates were i wasnt expecting much; I am still wondering if it really is an attempt at an honest Mexican experience after all that. Now we MUST be fair and rate plus sides too. The menus were well written and read, albeit the same dishes they were serving when they first opened.. The beer list was pretty good, a few beers you cant buy at your local bottle'o. Staff were pleasant, even if they didnt do any meal checking shortly after serving and leaving customers at the front door to seat themselves. No pizazz or shazaam about this joint either. Ill check back in another 6 months and see if they changed anything.

I've been here a lot and the food is always delicious. Prices are decent too. I recommend their tacos, enchiladas, taquitos and fajitas.

Wouldn't mind the food taking nearly an hour if that's what they told you when you ring up but to be told 15 minutes and then get your meal burnt and cold after waiting and waiting !!! Don't know the facts but would say that Bill doesn't own it anymore. Not going back.
