I ordered what should have been a pretty straightforward meal. A quarter pounder, no pickle in a medium mail meal with a soft serve cone. The burger and chips sat on the counter for some time waiting for someone to get the soft serve, cone, which sceneed okay long and drawn out task. While they offered to remake the burger i waited long enough, so took the one that was there. What a mistake, to my surprise, the quarter pounder was smothered in pepper. Not just a shake or 2, but it looked like they dropped the whole shaker on it. It was inedible. I went to lodge a complaint on yhe app and sent through a picture as requested of the invoice, however, the mobile app doesn't allow me to attach the picture.So i've attached it here.nnCouldnt recommend the Bendigo store Service slow and unorganised, while did offer a to remake before I took away fix, when i sat down to eat they had destroyed the burger. Was it a joke, im certainly not laughing. Doesnt deserve the one stat
I’m beyond frustrated with McDonald's Bendigo and their completely misleading “24/7” advertising.nIf you’re going to promote yourselves as open 24 hours a day, then that needs to be consistently true — not selectively convenient. I’ve now turned up on multiple occasions during late hours, relying on the expectation that you’re open, only to find the store closed for “maintenance.” Once is understandable. Repeatedly? That’s not maintenance — that’s misrepresentation.nAt this point, the “24/7” label feels more like a marketing tactic than a genuine service commitment. Customers plan around that promise — especially shift workers, travelers, and people with limited options at night. Wasting people’s time and fuel because your advertised hours don’t reflect reality is not just inconvenient, it’s disrespectful.nIf your operations require regular overnight closures, then be transparent. Update your hours properly instead of hiding behind a claim you clearly cannot uphold. It’s basic honesty.nUntil that happens, I’d strongly advise others not to rely on this location being open when it says it is — because chances are, it won’t be.nIf you want, I can make a slightly shorter version for Google reviews or add specific dates/times to make it hit even harder.
Ants little sugar ants were climbing on my drink as it sat on the food delivery area of the drive thru. They were obviously coming from the outside of the building up onto the service area window. But it is still gross when they climb onto your drink. It was mentioned to staff who made no attempt to clean the area.
I went to Macca's on the 20th of June around 2pm and everything was perfect. The service was quick and my burgers were made super well. Good work to everyone who worked on that shift :D
