Fun place with a good menu. The Ripper burger was about what you'd expect at a pub for lunchtime just good and the southwest chicken wrap was really good. I liked the rustic feel of the place and could've definitely had a few more drinks there if I had the time.Food: 5/5
The spot is local for us, so we always enjoy going here. We usually don’t have a problem getting in even if they are busy. When they are busy, we are happy to take a booth table in the bar. This place is known for their build your own burgers, but they also have a delicious pizza station. I would highly recommend the nachos. They are fantastic and the wings are also good. My favorite are the jerk wings and my husband loves the hot buffalo wings if you’re hungry and in the mood for a awesome burger I recommend that you get everything but the kitchen sink. It comes with french fries and onion rings on a fully loaded hamburger stop by have a bite drink a beer. Get a cocktail and thank me later because this is definitely a place you want to try
Stopped in for beers and apps. Loved the giant pretzel. Good selection of beers. Enough TVs to keep the football fans happy. Staff was attentive. A great place to bring a group to hang out for a few hours and catch up on old times.Food: 4/5
Half a dozen times we’ve ordered take-out and asked for no pickle with the sandwich due to a food allergy. Every time, there’s a pickle. This time we asked for a side of the chipotle mayo and received a side of thousand island dressing, which also can’t be had because of the same allergy. Having exhausted the benefit of the doubt, it’s obvious the kitchen here can’t be relied upon for food safety requests or following simple instructions. Dietary restrictions: Requests to accommodate dietary restrictions were blatantly ignored.
I love the atmosphere, very old world European chic. Very rustic manor house feel. But the food could use a little flavor as far as the burgers are concerned.Food: 4/5
Absolutely a must visit. Menu is across all likes. Everything we ordered in two trips was delicious. Like home cooked meals. Restaurant and kitchen is ridiculously spotless. And the best feature is the staff. Everyone went out of their way to make us comfortable. 5 STARS!!Food: 5/5
Very disappointed in both food and service. Food was mediocre and service was terrible. Waited forever to get our drinks water and lemonade. We expressly stated that a child in our group of 4 had a severe shellfish allergy. Since the fries are cooked in the same oil as the shellfish, we were very clear that french fries could not be on the plate with his burger. Low and behold, when the food was finally delivered, the burger had french fries piled next to his burger! Of course, we insisted that the plate be returned and he be given new burgers on a new plate. They did this, but the 6 year old had another long wait and the rest of us had to eat cold food because we did not want to start without him. They did get another order wrong, but it was not allergy related, so we just accepted it. Overall it was a very disappointing experience. If you have allergies, beware! Dietary restrictions: They are not good about paying attention to allergies.
3.8 overall. American tavern/eatery type atmosphere. Good cocktails and a large outdoor patio The French dip fell short 6 3/10. I don't like how it is a stack of meat laid onto the bread. Sandwich meats need to be layered individually. This lacked character because of that. So far, no one can take down that widow browns fd.... its perfection. Great place for over the top burger, pizza, and beer. The selection of food has great combinations and food was prepared to our liking. Been here a few times and tried numerous things on the menu and all we slightly above average. Have a good beer selection on tap and craft bottles. Fills a good role in the area of over priced places but provides a nicely design atmosphere. Staff was very good and attentive.
Great pub with a great burger! Love the old wood that surrounds the dining room! The 18 oz. Burger is one of the best burgers I’ve had. Perfectly cooked and juicy patty, complimented by tomatoes, avocado, lettuce, and slightly cured onion to cut the potent flavor stacked and wrapped neatly on a large but not dense bun. Good sized for two regular people, or one regular me. Service is spot on Friday afternoon with friendly and fast service.
