Great friendly and hard working staff, just wish there was more of them. The store is MASSIVELY understaffed therefore they close the internal restaurant in the evenings and only operate the drive through. I ordered a large rooster roll meal very simple order at ~7:45pm but it took 15 minutes of waiting in drive through with only one car in front of meal to receive my meal. Good food but the service is very slow due to lack of staff.
Rude staff. Was on the drive thru and gonna order 12 pieces of fried chicken, the staff rudely said their chicken wouldn’t be enough for 12pcs. So disappointed that its a fast food and there’s no chicken ready. We ask how long will it take, and said it would take 30 mins. Check and train your staff properly
The food is good, always a bit pricey but the 4 star review is for Jayden's customer service. Every time I come in his customer service is always exceptional well done young fella keep up the good service.
Ordered a bacon and cheese ripper and ten cheesy nuggets at drive through and paid for that. What I got was plain ripper and six plain nuggets. Not a huge fan of being ripped off.
big fella at the drive through window is so pleasant and helpful. I've traveled a lot and hands down the best customer service I've had is with this guy. each and every time even when he looks so tired he's up beat and smiling. he cares so much I could swear he's the owner with the joy he puts into his job I couldn't keep up the sheer effort at my own. dude needs a pay rise asap!
So disappointed. Regular customers who will not be back after the slow and rude service, along with the overpriced, tasteless and overcooked food.
Small to medium sized chicken , glad I wasn't intending on sharing the " meal " , then was delivered by a 3rd party which is another low star rating
As a repeat customer I was extremely shocked with the rude customer service tonight at this store. I ordered $60+ worth of food in drive through and 1 of those meals was a Tropicana Pack. At the window the server proceeded to go through my order and I corrected her as I ordered chicken tenders but she said that I had nuggets in my order, she pressed a few buttons on the screen and assumed that she corrected my order. I paid for the meals and I didnt have to wait too long for my food. I collected my bag and proceeded to their carpark to check my meal and found that I was missing my Tropicana pack. I tried to go through the door but it was locked and no was at the counter, knocked on the door and was greeted with a not so happy looking staff member who said "yes?" I explained that I was missing my Tropicana pack and I got a reply of " we dont have any chicken, didnt they tell you when you ordered?" I replied no I was not made aware of this but I was still charged for it. She then repeat we dont have any chicken then I was rudely ushered in and have the door locked behind me with 2 customers trying to pick up food left to wait outside. She then informs the crew at the back about the said Tropicana pack and another staff member goes off!! Acting very aggressive and shouts right we need a Tropicana pack. It didnt take long for one to appear and the staff member says there you go. Not even an apology for the mix up. You have just lost this customers repeat service and money!!!
The "fried" chicken range is awful. The only other time I've had fried chicken so dry and half burnt was when I cooked it. The "tenders" all taste weird with a slight fish aftertaste. I assume they are reusing the oil from cooking fish. Maybe we just got it on an odd day, cause if that's standard we won't be back.
Last three visits red rooster Palmerston hasn’t had chicken available. Probably should change their name to Just chips, or in future cook more chicken
