Great food and amazing service! This Chinese restaurant offers really good value for money, and you can tell it’s popular — there were lots of takeaway and Uber Eats orders going out, and it’s definitely worth booking for dinner as they run two sittings 5:30–7pm and 7–9pm.nnWe tried a range of dishes. The roast duck was delicious, the deep-fried prawns were huge and tasty a little on the salty side, and the fried rice was spot on. The lemon chicken was average for us as the batter was a bit too thick, and the beef with veggies was yummy but the vegetables could have been cooked a little softer. The deep-fried squid was also very good.nnThey add lovely touches when dining in — complimentary crackers to start and Chinese dessert with fruit at the end. Overall, a satisfying dinner and great value. We’ll happily come back!
Decided on this restaurant for lunch, older establishment, with decent food, excellent service, vast menu.nOrdered roast pork & bean curd lunch special, meal was pretty good, good flavour, not overly salty meaning fresh ingredientsnHighlight was the satay chicken, perfectly cooked and the sauce was excellent.nWould have got more stars if they would’ve stopped people smoking directly next to the front door, which is what you smell before entering.

Came here today for Red House special lunch deals. We love their roast duck/roast pork/BBQ pork dishes. Value for money a lot of meat, big portion, very hearty and filling. They do have yum cha menu if you like a variety of food.nnFor family of 3 total bill $54.40 for all meat dishes. Not too bad. We orderedn*** Dry Noodle with Roast pork and duckn*** Soup Noodle with Roast pork & duckn*** Fried rice with egg with roast ducknnWe paid with cash to avoid any card surcharges. Do take note they charge $0.50 for takeaway containers so if you thinking of bringing home leftover perhaps bring along your own containers to avoid extra charge.nnRecommended to arrive early since they are usually full pack during lunch time due to special deals. We arrived close to 12pm today the place already half full. Free parking onsite. But limited spaces. Would advise to park near Woolies scoresby if you are arriving during peak time. Just 2 minutes walk to the restaurant.nnStandard Chinese restaurant service quick turn around. We didn't wait long for our food wait less than 10mins. Staffs are friendly and quick with their response. Atmosphere is slightly noisy so you won't be able to stay there for long to chat. A lot of people buy takeaway. If you have a big group do book ahead.nnOn special occasion we come here to enjoy their Peking duck dishes.
Take a trip back to the 80’s by walking into this Chinese restaurant ~ it could do with a refresh!nnThe service was good & very prompt, our meals came out super super quick which could only mean that most meats are already pre cooked?!? Not a good thingnnMost of the meals were very authentic & full of flavour, however - the fried rice was tasteless & the duck had a re-heated taste which I cannot stomach, would not recommend.nnWe didn’t receive any complimentary fruit / soup that many others have mentioned in previous reviews?!?
