This had been a great takeaway pizza place for me for many years. I know inflation is hitting everyone but when you say your large pizza is 13 inches and give me two 11 inch pizzas, you clearly don’t come across as an honest business. Sure I could go back and ask for a refund but I don’t really want to bother because they didn’t I. The first place.
Seafood Odyssey pizza describes tiger prawns on the board in store but they added small prawns in pizza 1-2 pieces, without changing the menu on board and little ingredients on the pizza. I contacted store about it, only to be told that they reduced the portion of ingredients after receiving complaints from customers for adding a lot of toppings on pizza, which of course I did not buy.
I want to start with a summary: This place has the right idea about how to deliver a fantastic product. If only more pizza places operated in this way! Ok look, the other comments about wait time don’t lie, it took 55 minutes from ordering to receiving it.. but well worth the wait if you have the time. I can’t speak about delivery as I opted for pickup, but when I got there my pizza was pre-prepared and waiting to go in the oven. I thought it was a little strange until I realised their process. They asked me if my order was correct so I wouldn’t walk away with something I didn’t want, then they popped it in the oven and informed me it would only take a few minutes. Again, I was slightly confused as this isn’t normally how pizza places operate, but as they said- a few minutes later I had a perfectly cooked, piping hot pizza. I realised they didn’t want it sitting there getting cold if I was late, they wanted me to walk away with the best possible product. I appreciated this so much. I only just moved to the area and I won’t even be bothering trying any other places- this is now my pizza place Ps- it was so fresh and absolutely delicious!! And I got a GF base too
Great woodfire pizza at super prices. Service always great and pleasantly greeted by the owners. If only some of the restaurants could make the pizzas they charge 40% more for as good as these guys.
Amazing food, super friendly staff. Parking space is quite limited and seating space is quite limited too. Huge range of menu, including vegetarian options. Fair pricing for the size and quality of pizza. Will come back for sure.
We ordered a large Supreme and large Margherita pick-up. It was ready at the time estimated and it was absolutely delicious. They were sufcicient for a family of 4 2 kids. We found the whole experience very pleasant.
Absolutely fantastic pizzas... the best woodfired pizzas in an around Glen Waverley region. Order almost once every week.. There are 1 star rating mainly for delivery delays...But, if you need good food you gotta wait, or else just go to any other dominos, don't expect a quality wood fired pizza at the price what they serve !!! Very underrated pizza shop ... better then the top spots with 4.8star plus rating.
Good tasting Woodford pizzas. Decent crust. Could do better with consistency as some of the pizzas have appeared ‘hurried’ and could have used a couple more minutes in the oven. Have placed several delivery orders over the last few months and have had any issues with the Menulog delivery time, and the pizzas have always arrived hot. 3½ out of 5. Will order from Red Gum again.
Ordered a large half aussie half marga pizza for pick-up for 9:15, I arrived about 10 minutes early which is no issue, Once the order was done, i noticed i was charged slightly more than as if i would order from menulog, which I don't necessarily mind as it was only a 50 cent difference, regardless the pizza came out rather quickly, reckon i was in the car about 5-8 minutes in. Pizza quality was decent, few burned edges of the crust which could mean it was placed too close to the fire, the egg was a little runny so it could've been a tad undercooked. All in all, I would just suggest not to rush a pizza because I was early.
Delicious wood fired pizzas. Honest pickup times so it's not waiting around when you get there.
