Your good old neighbourhood community gym. I like the variety of exercise classes on offer. The gym has nice, well maintained machines. Although the building is quite dated, the service they provide here is top class.
Just joined. Great gym, never too busy. Staff are friendly and approachable. Look forward to checking out the classes.
This is an excellent, value for money and welcoming local community space. One week's membership here costs less than one class in other gyms and all staff are appropriately qualified.
When it comes to Disability.. this is where you want to go to help with personal training.. My own son attends once a week.. Lovely welcome on arrival.
A good multi purpose venue for sports. Has the usual kiosk for snacks chips, drinks, ice cream. Also a hall for more sedate activities. Venue also hosts Roller Derby practice sessions on a Sunday morning. So if you want to get into roller derby be sure to go and check out the practice.
I've been attending the YMCA for some years now. Love the trainers especially Sam at the Monday Cardio, Kirsten at KB, and Manilyn who takes Pump on Wednesdays. Great village vibe and down to earth clientele, not like the snooty city gyms. Highly recommend

The staff are helpful and the location is good, but this centre desperately needs an upgrade or redevelopment. Would be good if they upgraded this facility.
Love my Zumba classes at Recwest twice a week. Lisa is the best instructor. The facilities may not be the most updated but the staff at Recwest are all friendly and welcoming....great community feel which is to be treasured.
Staff are lovely there, friendly and helpful. Not your typical gym which can be a bit intimidating, it's more relaxed and laid back
