Laverton Swim and Fitness Centre is a family operated business. Our survival relies on the satisfaction of our clients.

Our Pool can comfortably accommodate 70 students. For groups of 50 (or more) students, schools will have EXCLUSIVE use of the pool.
Class ratio is one instructor for every 10 students, but we do place emphasis on beginner levels and this may occasionally result in advanced levels having a higher student/instructor ratio. When prep students are involved, an extra instructor is provided for the first session. Whether we continue with the extra instructor is the school’s decision.

Our Schools’ program is based on Austswim guidelines involving tuition on the four competitive strokes plus one “lifesaving” technique. Generally, one session is devoted to general lifesaving activities, plus simulated pool evacuation procedures.

Our instructors are Austswim trained, and all Centre staff possess at least Level 2 First Aid qualifications.

A lifeguard is provided for school groups.

The Centre maintains a fully stocked, externally audited First Aid Room.
