Best Pizza in Albury! Without question. Pizza is always hot and fresh and made with the attention pizzas deserve. Would highly recommend to any tourists or just some locals who haven't had the best pizza on this side of the border.
Best pizzas by far in Albury /Wodonga regionmaybe in the world. Fresh ingredients, bargain prices, brilliant customer service & friendly staff. Tastes amazing!
I feel like Rebels has just really gone downhill in the past year or so. My husband and I ordered last week. That night we both had an upset stomach. The pizzas honestly dont taste great anymore. Especially the one I had last week. I think I had two pieces and chucked the rest out. Also, without fail there is a minimum hour wait on delivery. Rebels used to be my go-to but don't think I will order from here anymore. Sorry guys! :
Too much cheap ham. Ask for a lesser amount of ham. It seems as if they have the attitude of “the more the better” All the ingredients were fresh and with a reasonable amount of everything the pizza would have been good but all you could taste was that cheap Luke warm ham. Got it for a family of 4 most of it went in the bin unfortunately.
Excellent customer service great pizza plenty of fillings same owners for years very professional I would highly recommend rebels pizza to all
Simply a great place. You can judge the popularity of the place by the line of customers waiting for their orders. The pizzas are huge and CHEAP!! with lots and lots of toppings. The pastas look great and the ribs are awesome. And did I say cheap? Should try at least once. Great helpful staff.
Awesome pizza! Requested small ham and was appreciated. Always fresh and the best! Thanks guys !
Sadly, the hype and amount of good reviews of Rebels Pizza in Albury was a let down. We arrived shortly after opening, and looked at the menu for a few minutes to make our selections, then proceeded to the counter to place our eat-in order. The staff of 4 never smiled, offered pleasantries, and were most unethusiastic for their current positions. Those current positions being out of their houses I imagine, being that each one looked as if they just rolled out of bed on a lazy day and swayed into work with enough gusto to remain breathing. Sad and quite disappointing. The atmosphere was heavy as the only sound was the monotonous pizza oven hum. There was no music, which was very odd considering the unique and interesting take on a 50's/60's Rock 'n' Roll diner feel. The ceiling was a neat point, as it was mostly covered with vinyl records, and would have been most cool if they covered the entire ceiling. I am guessing that it was a project that went unfinished, the same as the archaic juke box in the corner that had zero remanance to musical artistry. And now we finally can speak to the food. There were two of us, and we ordered a pizza, and a pasta dish. The pasta came out first, which was weird as it was not asked if we wanted them at the same time or at seperate times. The pasta was steaming hot, nice. It was to be the matriciana with penne pasta. Pan-fried bacon with onions, capsicum, garlic, and chilli in a Napolitano Sauce. To be honest, it was a sad bowl of plainly cooked penne with a muddled and non-authentic bland sauce where the barely noticeable non-crispy bacon could not stand apart from the minced onions, garlic, chilli, and random strips of over-cooked capsicum. Ragu does a better job with its bottled sauces, and if that is what Rebels Pizza used, I am sorry Ragu as I do not know how or why they did that to your sauce. But, if you eat enough of something said to be spicy, it eventually can be spicy, but that does not mean it is good. At least that was the perspective of my co-eater, because guys will still eat something if it is not great, or good. Now on to the Cadillac Delight, or The Lot as the menu board described it. It came after the pasta, and it did have the lot, the whole lot of ham that was I reckon the last of a bag as there was nearly more ham than there was pizza base. They were generous with the ham, there is no denying that. Another sad point was the inconsistency with the remaining toppings. The cheese was mostly even, but the mushrooms, capsicums, and onions went totally unnoticed, even though I did see a mushroom at one point. The pineapple was only scattered on some of the pizza, and due to the heavy content of ham, neither of us could tell if there was any bacon on the pizza as it just seemed to be all ham with cheese. On the positive side, we did ask for no olives, and there were zero olives. Well done Rebels. The pizza crust was not bad, but could not carry the weight of the hashbrown like layer of thin shredded ham, which meant that all the toppings wanted to come entirely off the slice as you tried to eat. Welcome silverware to the pizza party. We did get a pizza box to take our unfinished pizza with us, but that was more out of habit than a desire to eat more later. But it was at that time that I actually did receive a smile from an employee, which is always nice and can generally make a ho-hum experience a hum experience. Would I eat there again? Maybe if it was the last option for pizza at the turn of the apocalypse, but I would choose a pizza without ham. The place was clean, and their business is clearly popular with the delivery orders, as the drivers were constantly in and out with more drivers showing up. Good on them for having a great delivery pizza service, it just did not translate well into the eat-in dining experience.
They make the best pizzas in Albury /Wodonga hands down! Because of this they are very busy, the place is a Bee hive. But just ring ahead, the staff are efficient and friendly and the pizzas are amazing.
Great food, lovely pizzas, cool to visit just to see it set up like the fifties. Pity the pandemic has stopped eating in. I think it would be wonderful.
