I placed a shoe on hold over the phone and confirmed the price at $159. After driving 50 minutes to pick it up, I was disappointed to discover it wasn't on special. I explained the situation to a team member, and they contacted the person who placed the hold, but they couldn’t resolve the issue. I was told that nothing could be done and that I would need to pay full price. It would have been a nice gesture to honor the price I was initially quoted.
New store alert - epic place! I could spend hours here but I didn't on this occasion...coz kids!nTheir range is so extensive in every category and they've been clever in creating a space that feels like an event or experience rather than just a shop to buy stuff. I spotted a basketball court and a soccer kicking room amongst other sporting stations.nThe service I received from a young lady in the kids shoe section was so helpful. She didn't leave our side until we found 2 pairs of shoes that we needed after the original pairs we wanted were unavailable. She also took care to check the fit which was a great help. When you're a mum-shopper with kids in tow, you're often doing all the things all at once so oftentimes don't always get offered the help.nThanks Rebel Knox, always leaving your store happy not so much the bank account though!
The new location in Knox is good. I mainly go in to look at basketball shoes, balls and jerseys. They have a good range, as well as an indoor hoop area where you can try things out.
My favourite shop to buy sports clothes. Plenty of choices to choose from. Friendly and helpful staff. You’ll always find your favourite brand due to well arranged/organized sections.
SPECIFICALLY for this store alone on the Westfield website it says -n“Our team are friendly, approachable and will always support you with comprehensive product knowledge, the best solution and respect”.nnCouldn’t help but find this amusing after I had a young girl approach me multiple times at the Knox Rebel store assuming I was stealing, even after I tried to communicate with her to get her to stop harassing me. This was extremely difficult for me as I’m level 3 AUTISTIC and she refused to acknowledge what I was saying. Eventually she took the clothes off me that I was walking to the cash register to buy, she wouldn’t even let me walk straight there with the item because she couldn’t find a security tag on it and assumed I had done that. I didn’t even know there wasn’t one or was supposed to be one, which isn’t my responsibility, but she thought that horribly of me that I couldn’t even walk the 20 metres back down to the register. I asked for it back and she wouldn’t, she then proceeded to misinform her manager about what happened, I had already become extremely overwhelmed and had to walk off. My friend couldn’t find another of the same size, so she had to AGAIN go back and ask for the item back so we could buy it. The manager was very apologetic and nice, however stated that that’s not how their team treats people which she replied shocked with “well she did and I saw her do it”. This girl was dangerously prejudicial and with all the struggles my day is already filled with, this really ruined it. To put it very briefly she assumed I was a criminal, that I was uneducated and unable to communicate fairly and honestly, that I had no rights not even to buy a single Nike windbreaker and was treated like a child I’m 34 btw.nnMy neurological differences which cause my disability should not be perceived and definitely NOT assumed to be deceiving. I refuse to be bullied, gaslit, harassed and abused by people like her and I hope she never does something this damaging to an autistic person again, especially if they’re a younger and more vulnerable neurodivergent member of the community.
