Beautiful day walk, the first few minutes are the only steep parts. However, it is almsot impossible to walk the entire length of the ridge as the last third of it is completely grown over with gorse.

Good little walk, great views over Kapiti. Long grass in the spring/summer. Access just before the sealed section of waterfall road turns to gravel
