Raumati Beach is a very nice beach that offers sun till sunset. It has nice walk along the beach. There is a lot of parking space available and public toilets as well. There is a children's park and play area that has swings, slides, flying fox etc.nThere are a few bar b q places as well. Overall it is a nice place for a family picnic. Recommend

My dog had a blast running around in the sand and splashing through the shallow water. She was so excited, tail wagging the whole time. There were a few other dogs there too, so she got some socialising in.nnGot there about 45 minutes before sunset, which was perfect timing. Not too crowded & easy parking.

Another amazing West Coast Beach, close to Kapiti Island. Well worth visiting and a good swim on a sunny weekend.

Walk for miles loved it heaps of stops along the way for picnics,lookouts,food,beers etc

Beautiful scenery, public toilets that get locked in evening but one open all night. We had a peaceful evening. Restaurant at the carpark. Only one night for freedom campers they do come check.
