Always a lovely place to go. The sea, beach and countryside make it just beautiful. Great walks and amenities at the car parks. There are two entrances for cars and you can choose the best for you but I prefer McKays Crossing entrance where you can also get tram rides. Water is there but no food. Good for dogs.

Nice little park. The U.S Marine Memorial is awesome. They've opened a Marine hut which the Marines used to stay in when they were stationed there. Awesome site to visit. Highly recommened for all and Americans visiting. Nice area to spend half the day enjoying the Memorial and the beach!

Nice secluded park. A good place for picnic. Dont see any lamps or lights though. Few more benches near the beach would been great.

We planned a 3 generation family birthday and the park was the perfect choice. We took all the picnic stuff on the tram to the beach stop, and had a picnic on the tables. Good toilet block adjacent. The tram drivers are full of historical information and dedicated volunteers. Look forward to our next trip there.

One of the few sites that accept dogs near Wellington. Good play facilities for kids. Average kitchen/bathroom facilities. Poor hospitality..
