The team here were fantastic even though I am carrying a little extra weight they just gave me a little extra help with things like getting my wetsuit on and the small walk to the river. All allowing me to fulfill my dream of white water rafting. It was well organised and i felt safe at all times but the fun, excitement, thrill and challenge were all out of this world.Thanks to all of the team, you have made this Aussie girls whole trip worthwhile in half a day.

Thank you to Rafting New Zealand for one of the most incredible experiences of my life!!! We enjoyed a half day trip, exploring the Grade 3 rapids on the beauty of the Tongariro River. I thought I would be terrified, but I felt the exact opposite. You could lean over the side into the clear, fresh water and have a drink (or jump in for a swim). We paddled through rapids and tall forest walls we would have never seen if not for the river. We had insightful kiwi guides full of mythical stories about the Turangi area. Our instructor Rachel made us all feel comfortable with her helpful instructions on the water. She was super funny and made sure we experienced everything fully by making us jump off climbs, go through waterfalls and navigate some hectic rocks. Rachel provided hot chocolate and chocolate fish right there on the water! The entire crew had hot dogs and beers ready for us when we got back. I could not recommend this company more highly! Seriously considered cancelling all my life plans and moving over here to do it all the time! If you want to go white water rafting in the north island, make sure to check these guys out!

Have rafted with these guys several times, and have always felt safe - a very organized outfit. The most recent time we signed for a grade 5 trip and they didn't get the minimum numbers. However, no drama - they immediately booked us with another operator and called to let us know. Very communicative and always a pleasure to deal with. The gym they run is also well kitted out, and a reasonable price for a day pass but a bit pricy for a week pass.

We did the half day rafting experience & loved it!
Our guide, Rachel, was fantastic and really made  the experience incredible - highly recommend!!!!
It was a great intro into rafting, not too soft, family friendly but be prepared to get wet
Half day was more than enough
