Not very good experience today.nFirstly, I had my new car inspected for Uber driving.But it didn’t pass and I paid extra money to recheck it just because it didn’t look very clean. Alright, I can understand it is the requirement of Uber driving. But the customers can avoid unnecessary cost if the check list can be sent to customers prior to checking.nSecondly, the male receptionist asked for my drivers license without asking for my address straight away but didn’t check my drivers license properly and put the wrong address on my certificate.Then the female receptionist replied to me that I should tell them that my current address is at back of the license .What? Checking the back of DRIVERS license for address is not a common sense? What’s more, u do this job every day.nIn addition, once I came through to the counter and said I need recheck my car. The first response of the female receptionist was saying that U need book it first but not working in which made me lough. Why u know I didn’t book it?I had the appointment email.nnFinally, the mechanic for checking updated my address on the certificate. I am glad with him.

I’m just reviewing the one travel agent we booked in with and they were kinda incompetent. They had to keep asking for help from a coworker about how to do things on the computer. While they were giving airfare quotes I was finding options that were cheaper and with shorter layovers myself on my phone. And when it came to hotel/resort recommendations, they just asked me what ones I’d been looking at already and then showed my pictures and prices I’d already seen of the hotel that I had just said I’d already looked at. I get you can’t be an expert on all areas of the world but I would have thought RAA would have had a resort recommendation for the most popular tourist spot in Mexico. We did get a good quote for travel insurance though that’s more to do with being an RAA member than good work on the agent’s part, and the experience as a whole gave me the confidence to do all the bookings for my holiday independently…so that was good.

Lovely young lady assisted me with an issue today. On Richmond road. Could not have been more helpful. Very professional. Always find the same with any RAA staff. A pleasure to do business with them as we have for many years.

I’m surprised to see all the bad reviews. My travel agent, Lisa, is great. Today I had my car inspected for Uber Driving; despite a muck up with the initial booking they were helpful and I’m satisfied. Thanks RAA. Also, I want to say that their insurance was fabulous and made quick settlement with my recent car accident. No complaints here.

RAA Mile End is conveniently located and has off-street parking. RAA is a South Australian service and brand that many people trust. The counter staff are friendly and helpful and I always feel like a valued customer. There are many handy maps, travel accessories, camping gear, luggage options and other products on display. I've used the travel service on several occasions and been mostly happy with the advice and deals. RAA travel insurance is outstanding if you are a member. I do feel that face-to-face service when making an insurance claim is warranted BUT sadly, it's the usual phone only option. I cannot fault the excellent handling of my car insurance claims - broken windscreen, rear end collision and carpark bingle. All dealt with quickly and fairly. I find that RAA team leaders are willing to listen to feedback and take on board suggestions for a better customer experience.
